Smart Contractor New Database Setup Form


The Smart Contractor New Database Setup Form appears when you select the option to open a new Smart Contractor database. It prompts you to enter a few pieces of information that are needed to setup a new Smart Contractor database.

Fill in the prompts and click OK to create a new database.

To change the information that you entered in the this form, click on the Company Info option in the Setup menu.

The Installation Setup form has the following prompts:

Select Type of Business:

Select the type of contracting business that Smart Contractor will be used for.

If you select one of the types of construction companies, the program will create a database with an appropriate list of Job Phases, and job temlates.

If you select the "Clean Slate (Design Your Own)" option, the program will create an empty database with out any job phases or job templates. This will allow you to create job phases to suit any type of construction situation.

Enter Company Name:
Enter your company name to appear on all printed documents and correspondence.
Locale Version:
Select your country to set various localization options.
