While a "job schedule" is a schedule of all of the items in a job, the "master schedule" is a schedule of all jobs in Smart Contractor. To edit the master schedule, click on Schedule in the shortcut menu, then click Edit Master Schedule.
The master schedule displays the start and duration of all jobs in Smart Contractor in one grid. You can change the start date of any job, but you cannot change the duration of a job in the master schedule. The duration of each job is dependent on the duration of all of the items in the job, and you can only change the duration of individual job items in the Edit Job Schedule form.
The Edit Master Schedule form is a grid with jobs listed in the left half of the screen, and the schedule of each job in the right.
Both sides of the screen can be scrolled horizontally using the scroll bars at the bottom of the screen.
Both sides of the screen can be scrolled vertically using the scroll bar at the right of the screen.
The bar that separates the job item list from the schedule grid can be dragged horizontally to re-size the two halves of the screen. Drag the separator bar to the right to view more job information on the left side of the screen.
The left half of the screen contains the list of jobs. This list includes the following columns of information regarding each job: |
