How Do I... Use Typical Resources?
If you use the same employees and subcontractors to do certain types of work from job to job, and you use the same vendors to supply certain types of materials, then you can set Smart Contractor up to automatically schedule those resources for job items when you create a job estimate.
To do this, all you have to do is define "typical resources" for each Job Phase in the Job Phase entry form.
When you do, then Smart Contractor will automatically schedule those resources for job items when you create a job estimate. The typical resource will also be assigned to the vendor/sub if the resource is a vendor or a subcontractor.
Once you have created an estimate, you can change the Resources for job items in the Edit Job Estimate form, or in the Edit Schedule form.
