By default, Smart Contractor uses the printer settings that you have set in Windows for printing. But, you can change the printer, and all printer properties from within Smart Contractor if you need to.
To change printer settings, use the Print Setup... option in the File menu to display the printer setup dialog box. The printer setup dialog allows you to select a printer, and the printer's properties.
Smart Contractor will use the printer and selected options each time you print in Smart Contractor until you change the printer options again, or until you exit Smart Contractor.
The options that you select in the Print Setup... dialog will override the printer settings that you have set in Windows, but these will only be in effect for things that you print in Smart Contractor. If you want to change your default print options, you must do that in Windows.
Note that you can only change the printer setup options before the printed output is generated (before viewing it). If the print document viewer form is open, it will close when when you select the Print Setup... menu option.
