Smart Contractor allows you to enter any number of Job Notes in each job.
Job Notes can be used to enter any notes pertaining to a job. This is a convenient way to maintain a record of all interactions with a customer, or any other notes regarding the details of a job.
Job Notes can also be used to remind you of things that need to be done on a job.
To enter notes for a job, select the job in the prompt at the top of the main window. Then click on Edit > Edit Job, or click on the link next to Current Job: on the dashboard.

To Make A Job Note A "Reminder"
Any job note can be used as a Reminder. To make a job note a Reminder, select a Reminder Status for the note in the Reminder Status column. The Reminder Status selected must be defined as an Alert Reminder in the Reminder Status entry form.
To enter and edit the list of Reminder Status', use the Setup > Lists > Reminder Status menu option. The Reminder Status entry form has an Alert Reminder check box. When a Reminder Status' with the Alert Reminder box checked is assigned to a job note, the job note becomes a Job Reminder.
The count of Job Reminders (job notes with a reminder status set) is displayed at the top of the dashboard in the main window. When you click on the count of Job Reminders (either for the current job or for all jobs), the program will display the job reminders (for the current job or all jobs).
