Job Section Entry Form

To open the Job Section Entry form, click on Setup in the shortcut or drop-down menu, then click on Lists, then click on Job Sections.

The Job Section entry form allows you to create job sections. Job sections are used in the Job Edit Job Estimate form to assign job items to different job sections. Examples of job sections are:

Smart Contractor comes with a number of Job Sections pre-defined. You can use the pre-defined Job Sections, or create more.

Aside from the standard prompts available on all forms, the Job Section Entry form has the following prompts:

Job Section:
Enter the name of the job section.
Short Name:
Enter an abbreviated name for the job section. This is used as a prefix for all job items belonging to the job section.
