Smart Contractor License Entry

To open the License entry form, click on the Help menu at the top of the main window, then click on Technical Support..., then click on Enter License Key.

The License entry form displays your license ID, and prompts you to enter your Smart Contractor license key. The license ID and license key are different for each computer. You must obtain a separate license key for each computer that Smart Contractor is running on.

To purchase a license key in all other countries, select Help > Technical Support > Purchase Smart Contractor License from the main menu (at the top of the Smart Contractor main window). This will display the Purchase Smart Contractor License form that will allow you to specify license purchase options and then allow you to pay for your license online.

Once you purchase a license, the license key will be emailed to you. When you receive the email with your license key, follow the instructions below to enter it in Smart Contractor.

To enter the license key into Smart Contractor:

1) Copy the key

Open and view the email message from Smart Construction Software containing the license key. Select the license key in the email message by double clicking on it. Then type Ctrl-C to copy it to the windows clipboard.

2) Paste it

In the drop down menu at the top of the main window in Smart Contractor, select Help > Technical Support > Enter License Key. Click in the prompt for License Key, and press Ctrl-V to paste into the prompt .

3) Click OK

This will save the license key. A message will be displayed instructing you to re-start Smart Contractor. Smart Contractor will now be able to process any number of jobs, and create and open any number of databases.
