The Item Resource form appears when you right-click on a cell in the Job Schedule entry form. It displays information about resource scheduling conflicts, and allows you to change the Resources assigned to a job item.
Also, if you are not using CPM scheduling for a job, the Item Resource form allows you to move the entire schedule starting on a specific date. See information about the Push Schedule Back prompt below.
The Resource Schedule Update form has the following prompts and display boxes:
Job: |
Displays the Job that the item belongs to. |
Item: |
Displays the Job Item being scheduled. |
Scheduled: |
Displays the item's scheduled start and duration. |
Conflict: |
The Conflict box displays descriptions of any resource scheduling conflicts for the current item. See the How Do I... Correct Schedule Errors topic for information on correcting schedule conflicts. |
Resource: |
Click the check box next to the Resources in the drop
down list to select the Resource(s) to
work on this job item. Use the Resource entry form to enter your
list of Resources. If no Resources have been defined, this prompt will be
disabled. You can select any number of Resources to work on any job item. If you schedule a Resource to work on two (or more) jobs on the same date, this is considered a schedule conflict. See the How Do I... Correct Schedule Errors topic for information on correcting schedule conflicts. |
Completed: |
The Completed check box allows you to set the item status to Completed. Note that you cannot change the status of a completed item once it has been set to completed. That can only be done in the Job Progress form. |
Push Schedule Back: |
Only displayed when the Not CPM Scheduling option is selected in the prompt for Schedule Model in the job entry form or the schedule setup form. job options form. This prompt allows you to move all scheduled items by a fixed number of days forward or back in time, starting on the date specified in the next prompt (below). Enter a positive number to move all scheduled dates forward in time; enter a negative number to move scheduled dates back in time. |

With the Push Schedule Back prompt, this prompt allows you to move all scheduled items (by a fixed number of days forward or back in time), starting on the date specified. Enter the date from which to move all scheduled items forward or back in time. |
Once you have completed making changes to the item schedule information, Click OK. This will save your changes, re-load the job schedule, and take you back to the Job Schedule form.
If you had entered the Item Resource form to correct a "nr" error flag (No Resource scheduled), the "nr" flags should be cleared on all the schedule cells for the item that you clicked.
